Harbour plastic pick — 40 kg in two hours
We borrowed nets from the kayak club and fished plastic out of the harbour on a Saturday morning.
Original action by Ravn & friends · Islands Brygge, Copenhagen · 4 April 2026
Nobody organised it. We put a note in the kayak club and eleven people turned up with buckets. Forty kilos later we sorted everything on the quay so people walking past could see what came out of the water.
How someone else could take this further
Ask a local boat or kayak club for nets — they almost always say yes. Weigh what you collect and show it. The pile is what convinces people.
